LI Fly Fishing Show this Weekend

Let’s face it. This has been a cold and rotten winter. And we are all ready to get outside. Especially after the last several years while we all endured COVID.

While it might still be a little too cold and some states are now officially closed to fishing, I have a suggestion on how to get your fly fishing fix. Head to Hauppauge for the Fly Fishing Expo of Long Island.

This is a favorite show of ours and we are really looking forward to it. This one-day event is on Saturday, March 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel on Vanderbilt Motor Pkwy in Hauppauge.

Your $10 entry fee goes a long way. You can check out great tyers, stock up on all your fly fishing and tying needs for the season and sit in on some awesome presentations.

And speaking of presentations, we will be presenting Why Fly Fish for Bluegill? at 12:30 p.m. in the Huntington Room. There is also a special event for women getting started in fly fishing. You can also check out their Facebook page for the latest updates an information.

We certainly hope you can attend, as it will be a great day. Make sure to stop by our table and say hi!
